About The Position

Supervise the overnight Front Desk to maintain established operational standards and maximize guest service and hotel profit. Assist with working alongside and training new overnight employees, and ensure overnight staffing is adequate at each hotel. The role also supports the Security team and carries out duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or Finance.

Requirements

Ability to communicate in English.
Ability to achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction.
Ability to guide, coach, and hold staff accountable in a positive manner.
Ability to enforce company rules and standard operating procedures.
Strong computer skills and core business sense.
Hotel experience or customer service experience.
Valid driver's license required.
High school education or equivalent experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Supervisor experience preferred.
Security experience recommended.

Responsibilities

Help find and maintain staffing levels at all properties.
Train, cross-train, and retrain overnight desk staff and auditors as needed.
Help motivate and empower overnight staff.
Cover shifts when needed.
Create schedules for the Security team.
Make necessary corrections and adjustments before the desk day begins.
Ensure files and system resets are updated for the next day’s operations and that dates are changed.
Ensure audit reports are run and distributed to the correct people.
Assist Security with guest issues or disturbances.
Ensure security functions are completed, including locking doors, express checkouts, hallway checks, and responding to noise complaints.
Perform other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or Finance.
