Overnight Operations Coordinator

LIFEMOVES•San Jose, CA
•$28 - $38•Onsite

About The Position

The Overnight Operations Coordinator provides mobile operational leadership, training, coaching, scheduling support, and crisis response across LifeMoves Interim Supportive Housing programs in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. As a first line of operational leadership overnight, the Coordinator partners with site staff and leadership to support safe, consistent, trauma-informed services. The position reports to the Overnight Program Director and is part of a three-person overnight leadership team with the director and another Coordinator. It has no direct reports; site leadership retains overall site responsibility and direct staff supervision. The schedule is 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, staggered weekly with the second Coordinator to provide seven-day coverage. The Overnight Program Director sets the primary county assignment and cross-county coverage based on operational needs. The role involves significant travel among agency locations throughout the assigned counties. The Coordinator supports operational continuity and staffing across sites, provides training and coaching, assists with scheduling and coverage, and leads or coordinates responses to crises. The role also reinforces safety, quality, client rights, agency procedures, documentation, and communication between overnight operations and daytime leadership. Formal supervision, evaluations, discipline, hiring, time-off approval, and time and attendance approval remain with site leadership and authorized agency personnel.
