About The Position

Rosedale Green & Emerald Trace is seeking a compassionate, dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its overnight nursing team. This full-time position works 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and is responsible for resident care, clinical oversight, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment overnight. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, calm under pressure, committed to person-centered care, and able to collaborate with nursing assistants, fellow nurses, and leadership.

Requirements

• Active Kentucky RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification, or ability to obtain it upon hire.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience.
• Experience supervising nursing assistants or leading a team.
• Electronic medical record experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Assess residents and identify changes in condition that require intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Complete documentation and charting in a timely manner.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident concerns.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants and other direct care staff.
• Promote a positive, respectful, team-oriented culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
