About The Position
Planet Fitness is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic Overnight Front Desk Team Member who is passionate about health and fitness. The role supports members and team members through in-person, phone, and written communication, provides member services using prepared scripts, and uses technology to assist members. Team Members must become certified in CPR and AED training, perform CPR and use the AED when needed, and understand and demonstrate exercise equipment to members. The position also includes cleaning and maintaining restrooms, locker areas, showers, Black Card Spa amenities, the entryway, club floor, and exercise equipment, including mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, disposing of trash, and handling chemicals. Employees must comply with safety and sanitization guidelines and perform other assigned duties. The position is based at the Ann Arbor (Stadium) location and is described as an overnight Tuesday–Saturday role. The employer describes its environment as engaging, positive, fun, and judgment-free. Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Service-oriented approach and ability to resolve member concerns.
- Basic computer proficiency.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

- Ability to repetitively reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and twist.
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with members and team members in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Follow verbal communications from members, team members, and supervisors.
- Follow written communications, including prepared scripts for information calls, tours, cancellations, and rate reviews.
- Use different types of technology to service members.
- Obtain CPR and AED training certification; perform CPR and use the AED machine.
- Understand exercise equipment and demonstrate its use to members.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, locker areas, showers, Black Card Spa amenities, the entryway, club floor, and exercise equipment.
- Perform cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, wiping, disposing of trash, and handling chemicals.
- Comply with safety and sanitization guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
