About The Position

As a member of SpartanNash, a food solutions company and part of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, the Overnight Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate, and stack merchandise. The role also pulls and stages orders for delivery, unloads inbound shipments, loads outbound shipments, and moves products to dispersing trailers. The operator is responsible for safe and efficient vehicle operation and for keeping facility equipment neat, clean, and orderly.

The position is located at 1101 SE 59th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73129. Pay is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 overnight incentive. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 9:00 p.m. and continuing until completion. Employees must also be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and assigned, and work assigned shifts of 8–10 hours.

The position is classified as Career Framework Job Level T1 and works under close supervision with clearly defined standard operating procedures. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic technical skills.
• Ability to take direction and work under close supervision.
• Ability to communicate with team members.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and assigned.
• Ability to work assigned shifts of 8–10 hours.
• Must frequently sit, walk, and stand; use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls; and use both feet for repetitive movements such as operating foot controls.
• Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including frequent exposure to changes in temperature and humidity depending on assignment, and moderate-to-high noise levels.

• Forklift certification may be preferred.
