About The Position

The Overnight Forklift Driver operates a forklift and transports merchandise and materials throughout the club. The role assists with loading and unloading delivery trucks, inspecting and receiving merchandise, preparing and moving pallets, stocking and storing merchandise, and performing general maintenance and safety procedures. The position also supports club openings and closings, maintains club policies and procedures, keeps the club neat and organized, and provides prompt, courteous assistance to Members.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift operating experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, inspect it before use, and follow established safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials from delivery trucks, and inspect and prepare trucks for unloading.
• Accurately receive merchandise and materials delivered to the club.
• Lift, reserve, and drop pallets between overhead steel and the sales floor.
• Prepare pallets for safe reserving by wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and correcting broken pallets.
• Transport merchandise, materials, and pallets safely throughout the club; use a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general and food merchandise, and ensure merchandise is fully stocked.
• Handle damaged and spoiled merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Participate in daily club openings and closings.
• Return merchandise to the sales floor.
• Greet Members, provide prompt and courteous service, and assist them in locating merchandise.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work in other departments as needed.
