Overnight Floor Technician

About The Position

The Overnight Floor Technician cleans and maintains assigned floor areas using carpet shampooers, buffers, and other mechanical equipment. The role includes selecting and mixing appropriate cleaning chemicals, moving and cleaning furniture, maintaining equipment after use, and reporting problems to the Environmental Housekeeping Supervisor. The technician also provides exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to guests and follows company policies and procedures. The position pays $17.00 per hour and works from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

Excellent oral communication skills.
Has held a position as a cleaner or equivalent.
Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Working knowledge of heavy-duty equipment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Previous janitorial experience preferred.
General knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers, and wax preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate carpet shampooers and buffers.
Select and mix appropriate chemicals for cleaning.
Move furniture and clean assigned areas.
Maintain and clean machines after use.
Report problems to the Environmental Housekeeping Supervisor.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Mop, scrub, rinse, and polish hard floors.
Move, rearrange, and clean furniture.
Operate and control mechanical equipment, including rotary machines, blowers, and back vacuums.
Provide exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to guests.
