About The Position

GoodLife Innovations is seeking Overnight Direct Support Professionals to provide care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In family-style group homes, this role supports positive behaviors, teaches communication skills, and helps maintain individuals’ health and hygiene. Shifts include evening care needs, overnight checks, and light housekeeping. Available schedules include Front-Half (Sun–Wed), Midweek (Wed/Thu/Fri), and Back-Half (Wed–Sat), with overnight shift options of 7 p.m.–7 a.m. or 8 p.m.–8 a.m. The position is full-time, with 12-hour shifts, and pays $17.50–$19.83 per hour. A $250 hiring bonus is offered. Compensation depends on factors including shift type and program location.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to physically assist individuals.
Flexibility to work at assigned locations based on client needs.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving or direct support experience, ideally in a residential or therapeutic setting.
Experience working with clients with aggressive or disruptive behaviors.
Training in crisis intervention or de-escalation techniques.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Support positive behaviors and teach communication skills.
Help maintain the health and hygiene of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Assist with or fully support personal care needs, including bathing, toileting, and grooming.
Administer medications.
Perform overnight checks and assist with evening care needs.
Complete light housekeeping, including sweeping, laundry, and dishes.
Chart and document data using a computer system.
