Overnight CNA, CMA, or RMA- Full Time
About The Position
Transcend ED is currently hiring Full Time Overnight CNA, CMA, or RMA to join our compassionate team at our Residential Treatment Center in Monroe, NC. This is a key role supporting clients in a structured, recovery-focused environment during overnight hours. The role involves providing supportive care and supervision to a maximum of six (6) adolescent clients with behavioral health and eating disorders. Responsibilities include conducting safety checks, assisting with medication administration (for Med Administrators), documenting observations, supporting client routines, maintaining facility cleanliness, responding to crises, and collaborating with the treatment team.
Requirements
- Current certification as CNA, CMA, RMA
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and able to work independently overnight
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Passion for helping individuals in recovery from eating disorders or mental health conditions
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in behavioral health, residential care, or related field preferred
- Medication administration is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide supportive care and supervision to clients throughout the night
- Conduct routine safety checks and monitor the treatment environment for security and comfort
- Assist with medication administration (for Med Administrators) under licensure and policy
- Accurately document observations, incidents, and client interactions
- Support clients in maintaining a structured routine, including wake-up and morning transitions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility overnight
- Respond to crises and escalate to clinical staff as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care
