Overnight Cleaner
About The Position
The Overnight Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the facility to provide members with a positive and safe experience. This is a full-time position working 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, the gym floor, and other surfaces; stocking locker rooms; monitoring safety and cleanliness; and reporting broken or missing amenities or equipment. The Overnight Cleaner also acknowledges and assists members, responds professionally to questions and concerns, and follows the club’s lost-and-found procedures.
Requirements
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize and problem-solve.
- Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and use appropriate behavior and language in all interactions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand and walk continually during the shift.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to dilute and clean with chemicals throughout the shift.

Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests while providing exceptional customer service.
- Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating them to the Assistant Club Manager as needed.
- Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
- Monitor the club for safety and cleanliness.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, the gym floor, and other surfaces throughout the club.
- Stock locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
- Report broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
- Follow the Lost and Found Policy and promptly turn in lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.
- Monitor the club and assist members throughout the shift.
