About The Position

The Overnight Cleaner maintains clean, safe, and organized public and back-of-house areas at The State Hotel. The role responds to cleaning requests, supports guest and team member needs, communicates with colleagues, and helps deliver exceptional service while following safety and security procedures. The position is part-time and offers an hourly pay range of $21.00–$24.00, depending on experience.

Requirements

Minimum one year of housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred.
Desire to work in a fast-paced role.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical applications.

Responsibilities

Clean all public areas.
Work with others where needed.
Use proper bending and lifting techniques to protect personal and others’ health and safety.
Respond to calls for spill cleanup, trash removal, general cleaning, and straightening of public or back-of-house areas.
Clean back-of-house areas, including offices, hallways, and restrooms.
Follow all safety procedures.
Keep the work environment clean and organized.
Pay special attention to detail.
Respond to guest requests and follow through to help exceed guest expectations.
Maintain ongoing communication with team members.
Respond to internal and external inquiries and complaints and maintain favorable relations with residents, members, guests, and employees.
Protect company assets by establishing and ensuring adherence to security standards.
Strive to deliver exceptional products and service.

Complete other duties as assigned.
