About The Position

This role involves operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and place machinery or materials. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stacking merchandise, and safely loading, solidifying, balancing, and securing loads in trucks. The position requires compliance with project requirements, applicable standards, and the company's occupational health and safety rules, while ensuring customer-supplied products are maintained and protected. The work area must be kept clean and safe.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of overhead crane operation
• Competence card: overhead crane
• Knowledge of rigging operations and loading methods
• Knowledge of best practices for loading materials in compliance with occupational health and safety principles

• Spoken and written languages: French and English (asset)

Responsibilities

• Comply with project requirements and applicable standards
• Ensure that identification of all customer-supplied products is maintained/protected throughout operations
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Observe the Company's occupational health and safety rules
• Operate an overhead crane to lift, move and place machinery or materials
• Unload trucks
• Stack merchandise
• Safely load, solidify, balance and secure loads in trucks
• Any other related task
