About The Position

This role involves operating an overhead crane within the paint shop to lift, move, and place machinery or materials. The position requires adherence to project requirements, safety standards, and occupational health and safety rules. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stacking merchandise, and safely loading, solidifying, balancing, and securing loads in trucks. The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the work area and ensuring the identification of customer-supplied products is protected throughout operations.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of overhead crane operation
• Competence card: overhead crane
• Knowledge of rigging operations and loading methods
• Knowledge of best practices for loading materials in compliance with occupational health and safety principles

Responsibilities

• Comply with project requirements and applicable standards
• Ensure that identification of all customer-supplied products is maintained/protected throughout operations
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Observe the Company's occupational health and safety rules
• Operate an overhead crane to lift, move and place machinery or materials
• Unload trucks
• Stack merchandise
• Safely load, solidify, balance and secure loads in trucks
• Perform any other related task
