About The Position

As a Class A CDL OTR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of goods at various locations across the country. The ideal Class A CDL OTR Driver adheres to American Furniture Warehouse’s quality expectations and safety standards. Requirements

Must have a CDL with at least one year of recent OTR experience with similar equipment.
No major FMCSA violations.
Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents within the last three years.
Must have no restriction on CDL and be able to maintain a CDL.
Must be based / live within 100 miles of an AFW Distribution Center.
A Pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment background check must be passed upon job offer.

Most of our loads are drop and hook; 98% no-touch freight, Trips are pre-planned/scheduled.

Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering our products in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
Operate 53' dry Vans
use of electronic logging device, ELD
Report any vehicle problems and defects to the on-site truck maintenance department.
Comply with all state, local and national Department of Transportation standards and regulations while maintaining a good driving record.
