About The Position

AFW is seeking an experienced Over the Road CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This is a home weekly position with 34-48 hours of home time, offering competitive pay and bonuses. We pride ourselves on being a family-owned company with strong values, focusing on drop and hook loads and no-touch freight. All trips are pre-planned, and we haul our own freight, ensuring no waiting at truck stops. We offer paid orientation and allow dogs in the tractor. Comprehensive benefits are available starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Requirements

At least 1yr. OTR tractor-trailer driving experience in the past 3 years
No major FMCSA violations.
Acceptable MVR and PSP within the last three years.
Must be able to maintain a CDL.

Nice To Haves

Mountain driver a plus.

Responsibilities

Commitment to AFW's safety policies and procedures and the ability to promote awareness.
Able to perform vehicle pre-trips up to FMCSA standards.
Ability to operate Electronic Qualcomm Log System.
Must be willing to chain up during severe weather.
Must be aware that operations occur on asphalt, concrete and gravel surfaces in a hostile environment often contaminated with material subject to embedding in tires.
Must function and interact on a routine basis with the AFW management team.
Communicate using a cellular telephone with dispatch and AFW personnel via McLeod application.
Ability to efficiently work independently of direct supervision.
