About The Position

ARCXIS applies for City and County permits on behalf of contractors in California. The part-time Permit Runner applies for permits online or travels to City or County Building Departments to submit the correct paperwork on behalf of contractors, applies for the correct permit, picks up finalized permits, and submits completed documents through the company web portal. Training is provided for the company’s system and job-specific processes.

Requirements

Have a working vehicle.
Have a computer, printer, and smartphone.
Have internet connectivity.
Be available during the opening hours of City/County offices in the local area.
Have basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn the company system; training will be provided for job specifics.
Have a positive attitude and the patience and charm to work with City departments to obtain desired results.
Be able to follow directions and pay attention to detail.
