About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

Requirements

Team Members must be in current position for 90 days.
Team Members must have no suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year.
Team Members with four (4) or more attendance points at the time of application will be disqualified from consideration.
Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork.
Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas.
Stand 8-10 hours on hard floors.
Perform repetitive motions as required in many areas.
Work in a cold, damp environment.
Work on slippery walking surfaces.
