About The Position

Volo’s Auto Supply is a locally owned and operated auto parts supplier, working within the NAPA Auto Parts system. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality products to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Outside Sales Representatives focus on Business-to-Business sales, working closely with automotive repair shops, dealerships, and heavy-duty/agriculture customers. This role is critical in driving the growth of our business by developing strong relationships with customers and creating tailored sales strategies to meet their needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the automotive or heavy-duty/agriculture vehicle industries.
  • Strong understanding of Business-to-Business sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visits to customer locations, including automotive repair shops, dealerships, and agricultural/heavy-duty businesses.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their specific needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and develop opportunities for stocking products based on their needs, ensuring product availability and timely delivery
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets within assigned territories.
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team and management to develop and refine sales strategies.
  • Research and identify potential new markets and customer segments within the automotive and heavy-duty/agriculture industries.
  • Provide market feedback to management, helping to shape the company's product offerings and pricing strategies.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent Volo's Auto Supply and generate leads.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with the store team to meet delivery schedules and product requirements.
  • Accurately process customer orders, placing new orders as necessary to meet customer demand while ensuring stock levels are maintained.
