Moore Supply Company, a trade name of Hajoca Corporation, is seeking an Outside Salesperson for their Houston, TX location. Hajoca Corporation is a large, privately-held wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies, founded in 1858. The company operates on principles of "Service, Integrity, Reliability" and values relationships of trust and support. Hajoca utilizes a decentralized business model where each location, known as a Profit Center (PC), is managed like a small business. The Outside Salesperson will be responsible for attracting and retaining customers by conducting face-to-face meetings, visiting job sites, and meeting with decision-makers. This role involves working with the Profit Center Manager to set revenue and margin targets, analyzing sales reports to develop strategies for market share growth, and processing sales orders and bids. The salesperson will also be responsible for investigating and resolving customer issues, facilitating payments, and supporting other Profit Center activities. Additionally, they will join industry associations to stay informed about market trends and complete required training programs.
