About The Position

Fiserv is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to introduce Clover, its cloud-based commerce platform, to restaurant owners in the Houston, Texas area. The role is part of the Restaurant Depot field sales team and focuses on promoting Clover point-of-sale and online ordering solutions.

This is a 100% hunter, field-based position requiring travel within the Houston area and collaboration with Restaurant Depot locations. The representative engages business owners in person, develops client relationships, demonstrates solutions, drives sales through consultative selling, and installs Clover systems while providing hands-on training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in a quota-driven, self-sourcing sales environment, particularly with small to medium-sized clients.
• Two years of experience cold calling and prospecting.
• Two years of experience independently generating leads.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of sales experience.
• Proficient technical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage business owners and restaurateurs at Restaurant Depot, initiating face-to-face conversations to identify needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Build and nurture relationships by scheduling in-person appointments at clients’ restaurants or businesses.
• Demonstrate Clover solutions and explain how they can streamline operations and boost revenue.
• Educate potential customers on POS systems and online ordering platforms using deep product knowledge.
• Convert leads into clients through personalized consultative selling strategies.
• Install Clover systems at client locations and provide hands-on training to support smooth integration and effective use.
• Uphold Fiserv’s ethical standards and foster genuine connections with clients and colleagues.
• Travel within the Houston, Texas area and collaborate with Restaurant Depot locations.
