A growing electricity and construction company is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Representative to expand its client base throughout the Tri-State area. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting new customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and managing the sales process from initial contact through project completion. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and comfortable working independently while representing the company in the field. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of outside sales or business development experience required
  • Experience in the electrical, construction, or related industry preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the Tri-State area
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and generate new business opportunities throughout the Tri-State area
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, developers, property managers, and business owners
  • Conduct client meetings and on-site visits to understand project needs
  • Present company services and customized solutions to prospective clients
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Prepare proposals, estimates, and sales presentations
  • Follow up on leads and maintain an active sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Meet and exceed sales goals and performance targets
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
