About The Position

NOVA Computer Solutions is an established, vertically focused Managed Service Provider (MSP) with over 20 years of experience providing technology support and strategic IT services to businesses in Northern Virginia, Metro Washington DC, and Maryland. We specialize in supporting professional environments, particularly dental practices, with reliable managed services, security solutions, and IT consulting. We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our client base through net-new business acquisition. This is a hunter-focused role ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building pipelines, and is rewarded directly for results. The position requires strong time management, persistence, relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage a full sales cycle from initial outreach through close.

Requirements

  • Proven outside B2B sales experience
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable prospecting and generating your own pipeline
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently within a defined territory
  • Willingness to travel locally within the assigned region
  • B2B Sales: 2+ years (minimum)
  • Outside / Field Sales: 2+ years (minimum)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): 2+ years
  • Valid Driver’s License (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure net-new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close
  • Build trusted relationships with business owners and key decision-makers
  • Present NOVA’s managed services, security, and IT solutions clearly and confidently
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking
  • Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff and partner success
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies
  • Represent NOVA at networking events, conferences, and trade shows as needed
