About The Position

TSS Associates Inc. is a leading manufacturers’ representative agency in the HVAC industry, proudly serving New England and New York. We represent top-tier manufacturers and deliver high-quality heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related products to contractors and wholesale distributors. Our success is built on technical expertise, trusted relationships, and personalized support. We’re growing and looking for a professional, motivated Outside Sales Representative / Account Manager to join our team in the Upstate New York territory . You must reside in Upstate New York (Albany Area) to be considered. HVAC experience is not required — if you have a strong background in professional sales and a willingness to learn, we will provide full training and support to help you succeed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside or B2B sales (industry experience a plus, but not required)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational habits
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Must live in Vermont and be able to travel throughout the territory
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, and HVAC distributors
  • Promote and sell products from our respected manufacturer partners
  • Deliver product presentations and provide customer support
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory
  • Negotiate pricing and close sales
  • Track activity and manage customer relationships using a CRM
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and product knowledge (training provided)
  • Collaborate with internal team and manufacturer partners to meet territory goals
