The Outside Sales Manager will manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business, ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. This role involves interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates to ensure they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values. The primary focus is to maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel to previous, current, and potential clients, using professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions. The role also includes managing accounts to ensure pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented, coordinating various departments' participation in servicing accounts, and maintaining hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and account revenue. The position requires developing and conducting persuasive verbal sales presentations, articulating and leveraging the benefits of the hotel to close sales opportunities, and traveling locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel, and review competition. Additionally, the role involves representing the hotel at trade shows and following sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
