About The Position

ARS of Illinois is seeking Residential Outside Sales Representatives. This role offers the opportunity to earn $65,000 - $175,000+ annually based on performance, while working for the nation's largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical services. With over 7,000 team members and 45+ years of industry experience, ARS provides stability, growth, and industry-leading support for HVAC professionals. This position involves meeting with homeowners to assess and quote heating and cooling systems, presenting product options, explaining installation details, and providing transparent pricing. All appointments are pre-scheduled by ARS based on incoming service calls or inquiries. The role requires building relationships, assessing customer needs, and providing tailored recommendations, as well as presenting financing and promotional options to close deals efficiently.

Requirements

  • Sales experience required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication, consultative sales skills, and product presentation ability

Nice To Haves

  • Residential HVAC experience
  • In-home sales, outside sales or one-call-close experience preferred
  • Familiarity with gas, electric, and tankless water heater solutions
