The primary focus will be serving as a trusted advisor to customers, selling forklift parts and service packages, and ensuring customers’ equipment operates at peak performance throughout its lifecycle. The representative will be the vital link between Pape’s Parts and Service Departments and the customers who depend on their trucks every day. Requirements

  • Self-motivation and the desire to win.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to form strong relationships with customers.
  • Experience planning, developing, and executing sales action plans.
  • Knowledge and experience in material handling equipment parts and service.
  • Experience working with CRM software, sales tracking tools, and basic business reporting.
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Driving relationship-based sales by understanding customer needs, building rapport, and becoming their go-to resource for all things parts and service.
  • Providing tailored solutions by recommending the right parts, maintenance, and service packages to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Proactively managing accounts, identifying opportunities to grow sales, and helping customers avoid costly downtime through preventative care.
  • Collaborating internally with technical teams to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and product support.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Selling forklift parts and service packages.
  • Ensuring customers’ equipment operates at peak performance throughout its lifecycle.
  • Keeping customer forklifts running strong after purchase.
