About The Position

Leaky’s is hiring an Outside Sales / Business Development Rep to go find new business and bring in customers. This is not a desk job. This is a prospecting role. You’ll be out in the field every day building relationships, knocking doors, talking to businesses, and creating opportunities for our service team. The objective is to bring in new customers and generate leads for plumbing service calls, HVAC service & installs, and water treatment (softeners, filtration). Most of your focus will be business-to-business, targeting property managers, builders, realtors, commercial facilities, and local businesses. You will be prospecting every day (in person, phone, follow-up), walking into businesses and introducing Leaky’s, building referral relationships, setting up service opportunities for our team, following up until deals close, and keeping a simple pipeline and tracking activity. This role is for individuals who like talking to people and asking for business, don’t need constant direction, are competitive and want to make money, can handle rejection and keep going, and finish what they start. This is not for someone who wants to sit behind a desk, needs constant direction, or is afraid to hear “no”. Core traits include being hungry, outgoing, a self-starter, and having relentless follow-up. We are a young company growing fast and need people who can go out, create opportunities, and help us become a dominant service company across Texas. If you’re average, this probably isn’t for you. If you’re a closer, you’ll do very well here.
