About The Position

SunSource is seeking a driven, solutions-focused Outside Sales Account Manager to join their Fluid Power division in the Salem, OR metro area. This role involves building relationships, solving technical challenges, and driving growth within a supportive, established team. SunSource is one of North America’s leading value-add industrial distribution companies, providing customers with products and value-added solutions in Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Repair.

Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Computer and technology proficient including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ability to learn and effectively use CRM systems and related apps
A valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally overnight

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR a 2-year technical degree (Fluid Power focus)
Fluid Power sales is a strong plus and preferred
Hands-on experience with fluid power systems, components, and troubleshooting is a big advantage

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in collaboration with your District Sales Manager
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and presentations
Grow and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across a defined territory
Leverage support from expert inside sales and technical teams to deliver value-added solutions
Use CRM tools and data insights to effectively manage your pipeline and territory
