About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Coordinator to support Comcast Project. In this fully virtual position, you will oversee and monitor the construction activities of our business partners. You will play a critical role in ensuring tasks are updated on time in the database, coordinating resources, and providing technical advice across departments.
Requirements
- Must live in MI, IN, or KY (No exceptions).
- Proven ability to read, interpret, and understand Coax and Fiber design prints.
- Strong background in the telecom/cable television industry.
- Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Exceptional, consistent, and punctual attendance.
- Reliable, high-speed Internet Service Provider (ISP) connection.
Responsibilities
- Monitor third-party business partners to ensure construction tasks are updated accurately and on time in the system.
- Plan and coordinate aspects of OSP construction activities, including materials, labor, and resource allocation.
- Provide expert technical advice and support to procurement, design, and construction teams.
- Evaluate contractor change orders and monitor cost estimates to keep projects on budget.
- Audit new job packages to verify that the task plan completely aligns with the defined scope of work.
