Requirements

  • 1-2 years or more of sales experience
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills

  • Must have a valid driving license
  • Must be able to pass post offer drug test
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand business within an assigned territory.
  • Spend more than 50% of time outside the office, engaging in proactive sales efforts.
  • Develop and leverage customer relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of products and pricing.
  • Actively pursue leads and exceed sales targets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate seamless order processing.
  • Maintain up-to-date market intelligence.
  • Regularly collaborate with the sales supervisor.
  • Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Uphold exceptional customer service standards.
  • Promptly address any concerns or complaints.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of VVG products and pricing.
  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business.
  • Visit assigned customers.
  • Prospect new customers.
  • Communicate parts orders to inside parts salespeople.
  • Meet or exceed new business sales goals.
  • Complete prospecting activities to secure first and follow up appointments with decision makers.
  • Schedule and document activities.
  • Prepare and draft sales documentation and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
  • Regularly meet with sales supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective customers.
  • Advise parts people of any special needs.
  • Follow up on parts orders to ensure parts department is meeting or exceeding their needs.
  • Act as public relations liaison for VVG.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide conflict resolution to customers.
  • Visit customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relations.
