About The Position
Ward Trucks of Mobile is hiring an outside parts salesman. Outside Parts Salesmen are responsible for selling parts in sales territories, over-the-phone, and occasionally, on-line, to our customers while promoting and maintaining a positive, team oriented, and customer focused attitude within the parts department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Reasoning ability.
- Technical skills.
- Problem Solving.
- Computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in outside parts sales.
- Heavy Duty Parts Counter experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct parts.
- Providing pricing and product information to customers.
- Answering telephones promptly.
- Maintaining customer satisfaction at or above company standards.
- Assisting with inventory validation.
- Contributing to departmental production and profitability goals.
- Ability to apply common sense when needed, while staying within company guidelines.
