About The Position

The Outside Operations Staff provide critical service to our members and guests at TPC San Antonio, a private resort located in the Texas Hill Country. This role is often the first point of contact for members and guests arriving at the club. TPC San Antonio offers 36 holes of championship golf and various resort amenities. The TPC Network, owned and operated by the PGA TOUR, consists of 30 premier golf properties known for outstanding conditioning, amenities, and a commitment to environmental excellence and community support.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education
Previous experience working in customer service, preferably in a country club or equivalent

Responsibilities

Assist PGA TOUR players, Members and guests with their golfing needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable golf experience.
Greet and welcome members and guests.
Pull all golf cars from the golf car facility to the bag staging area at opening.
Remove golf bags from member’s and guest's car and load them on a golf cart.
Drive the golf car to the staging area.
Provide members and guests with miscellaneous information to help them play the course.
Provide members and guests with thoroughly cleaned and good operating cars stocked with towels, scorecards, pencils, and divot repair material.
Drive dirtied golf cars to the car washing area; wash car, wipe down car, stock golf car with clean towels, pencil, score card, and divot repair material.
Drive golf cars into golf car facility and plug them into the battery charger at closing.
Ensure that the Golf Car Facility is always clean and orderly.
Perform periodic car maintenance and minor special repairs.
Update car service records.
Service the practice facility by driving the picker and mechanically picking up golf balls in the area.
Set up the practice facility for play.
Continually replenish the supply of practice facility balls.
Using a golf cart, patrol the practice tee and pick up trash and practice golf ball bags.
Rotate practice facility area in accordance with tee maintenance program.
Collect, clean and bag balls at the end of play, ensuring that all range balls are in excellent condition at all times by culling damaged balls.
Assist members and guests as they depart from the facility, ensuring that all golf clubs are cleaned, and that a staff Member carries and places golf clubs in member's or guest’s vehicle.
Work closely with the Golf Shop staff to ensure that all club rules including dress code and beverage policy are followed by members and guests.
Ensure that no member or guest carries his or her clubs to or from the practice facility or in the parking lot or clubhouse areas.
Special projects or other duties as assigned.
