Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of facility housekeeping standards and practices as well as public assembly facility set-up requirements.
  • Must be able to lift to 50lbs. consistently.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Possess strong ability and initiative to maintain a first-class facility.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments/tasks to maximize efficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish desired.
  • Valid Driver’s License is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with general cleaning and upkeep of the facility.
  • Sets up and breaks down tables, chairs, risers, staging, barricades, pipe and drape, and other equipment required for meeting rooms, exhibition halls, concerts, conventions, and special events.
  • Assists with loading and unloading equipment, supplies, and event materials as needed.
  • Performs room conversions and event changeovers in accordance with event specifications and operational timelines.
  • Assists with trash removal, recycling, floor maintenance, and general facility appearance before, during, and after events.
  • Responds to operational requests from staff, clients, promoters, and guests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas, workspaces, docks, and operational areas throughout the facility.
  • Operates equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner following departmental procedures and training.
  • Identifies and reports maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the facility and event success.
