Legal Services of North Florida has an opening for an Outreach Paralegal (full-time 35 hours a week). LSNF handles more than 9,000 cases a year and does not charge their clients for their legal services. Be a part of a non-profit law firm, with 140+ employees in eight offices across North Florida, that seeks legal justice while understanding the value of work-life balance. Work independently and as part of a team to obtain positive results for clients with a focus on civil legal issues such as preventing homelessness and housing loss through direct client advocacy and strategic outreach. This position is located in our Panama City office. Paralegals at LSNF work collaboratively with superior legal professionals in civil litigation and administrative law to strategize and advocate on behalf of clients and seek justice. This position will play a vital role in supporting our Eviction Prevention Project by participating in community legal clinics, conducting presentations on tenant rights, and building partnerships with community organizations to reach vulnerable populations at risk of eviction. This position will have a great deal of client communications and interactions. Ability to work independently and in a team environment is desired.
