About The Position

Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting for an Outreach Family Partner to support the Family Success Center Program in Pennsville, New Jersey. As a non-profit organization, Acenda is solely committed to its mission of moving lives forward. Acenda provides over 100 life-enhancing programs and services to individuals, families, and communities throughout New Jersey. By bringing together bright teams, innovative services, and understanding, caring hearts, the organization is moving upward to move lives forward. They join together to provide a wide range of mental health, crisis services, parenting support, family-focused therapy, and residential programming. The Outreach Family Partner will create and facilitate family friendly events and programs to serve the follow areas in Salem County (but not limited to): Pennsville, Alloway, Elmer, and Woodstown. The ideal candidate for this role would be energetic, pleasant, enjoys meeting new people, likes to work with children and families.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, Social Work, Liberal Arts, Criminal Justice or a related field required
Strong engaging, communication and collaboration skills
Professionalism, ethics and a commitment to excellence in care
Must demonstrate initiative, creativity, reliability and the ability to work well independently
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Incorporates and implements the Principles of Family Support and the Protective Factors into all aspects of their work.
Advocates for/with families as needed; increases the family's ability to problem-solve and advocate for themselves and their children.
Establishes a trusting relationship with the families.
Participates and assists in coordination of Center activities and events.
