The Campaign Finance Board (CFB) is a nonpartisan, independent city agency dedicated to making local democracy more open, transparent, and equitable by empowering New Yorkers to participate more meaningfully in elections. The Public Affairs division, specifically the Partnerships and Outreach unit, focuses on engaging New Yorkers, informing them about elections, and boosting their participation. This role reports directly to the Senior Outreach Manager and is responsible for leading outreach, relationship management, and community engagement efforts to strengthen voter participation across New York City, supporting the NYC Votes initiative. The position involves implementing direct voter engagement efforts in priority neighborhoods and among historically underrepresented groups, including voter registration drives, community events, partnerships with local organizations, door-to-door canvassing, and text banking. The role also highlights the benefits of the Matching Funds program and increases awareness of the CFB's work in strengthening democracy in NYC. Responsibilities include planning, designing, and executing multi-modal outreach events, managing relationships with community partners, coordinating outreach operations, and ensuring accurate data tracking and reporting.
