About The Position

The role of the Outreach Coordinator is to plan and coordinate outreach processes and activities related to planning, design, and construction, of water infrastructure related efforts in the Midwest. This role will work closely with residents, community-based organizations (CBOs), clients, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
• An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
• Solid knowledge of corporate governance practices, organization design principles, accounting principles, finance, supply chain management, and organization management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical, professional and business materials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day outreach point of contact on projects
• Create and refine outreach and engagement materials specific to projects and communities
• Oversee canvassing efforts including management of CBOs and subconsultants
• Coordinate with client counterparts, including public affairs and outreach engagement specialists
• Attend and organize client and community meetings and program events as needed
• Coordinate and provide regular communication to questions and concerns raised by residents.
