About The Position

UW Medicine's Outreach Program has an outstanding opportunity for a UW Medicine Outreach Coordinator. This position is 100% remote, with most of the working time spent outside the home office, involving regular travel within the territory. The Outreach Coordinator will build and maintain relationships with referring clinics, hospitals, and health systems across the central Puget Sound region. They will spend most of their week in the field, visiting practices, meeting with clinic managers and referral staff, identifying barriers to smooth referrals, and communicating these back to UW Medicine service lines for resolution. The Strategy Division Business Development Office (BDO) was established to identify, evaluate, and execute on strategic growth opportunities. The Outreach team within the BDO aligns system-wide outreach efforts, coordinates external engagements, and strengthens relationships with outside systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Strategic Planning.
Four years of experience in program development and marketing including Outreach, Sales, Planning, Data Analysis, Presentation skills.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with referring clinics, hospitals and health systems across the central Puget Sound region.
Plan and run a regular visit cadence for assigned accounts, and document what you learn after each visit.
Work with UW Medicine teams to resolve access problems, scheduling barriers and communication gaps that partners raise.
Represent UW Medicine at regional conferences, continuing education events and partner meetings.
Share learnings from the field (e.g., competitor activity, staffing changes, service gaps and new programs) with the outreach team and service line leaders.
Keep account and contact records current in the customer relationship management system.
