The Outreach Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services within school and community settings, supporting the health and safety of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult athletes. The role includes injury prevention, evaluation and management, rehabilitation, coordination of care, event coverage, and collaboration with physicians, school personnel, patients, and families. This role supports NCH Sports Medicine services for patients at schools, colleges/universities, and community partners. Provides athletic training services in collaboration with physicians to pediatric, adolescent, and young adult populations, including injury prevention programming, injury evaluation and management, rehabilitation, and coordination of care, in addition to contributing to hospital-based programming. Serves as an ambassador of Nationwide Children's Hospital, fostering relationships with school and community partners, patients, and their families while promoting health and wellness.
