About The Position

Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Licensed Outpatient Therapist/Social Worker for a 13-week travel assignment in Ocala, FL. This full-time position involves assisting residents with their psychosocial needs through various therapeutic modalities, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or psychology
Licensed in the state of Florida as a LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC required
Two years of experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family and group therapies and treatment skills
Must have strong clinical assessment skills
Adolescent drug addiction experience highly desired
Successful completion of a Level II background screening

Responsibilities

Assist residents in meeting their psychosocial needs through various treatment modalities such as: group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, case management, education, etc.
Coordinate treatment services and works with the multidisciplinary treatment team to drive the direction of the individual resident’s treatment goals and interventions.
Develop appropriate treatment objectives and weekly treatment summaries.
Act as liaison between outside referral sources/guardians and facilitate after care placement and treatment services.
Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients’ functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients’ treatment team.
Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.
