About The Position

NFS is hiring outpatient therapists to provide behavioral health services at one of five office locations in Massachusetts: North Andover, Dorchester, Fall River, Worcester, or West Springfield. Therapists work collaboratively with clients to draw on their strengths and support their goals through individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy. Both full-time salaried and hourly fee-for-service arrangements are available. Fee-for-service clinicians can choose a schedule ranging from 5 to 30 hours per week. The organization describes its clinicians as W-2 employees and does not offer 1099 contractor arrangements. Fee-for-service rates vary by education, licensure, language capacity, specialty, and experience: $45 per hour at the MA level; $50–$55 per hour for an MA-level clinician with an initial license or additional language capacity; $55–$60 per hour with an initial license and additional language capacity or a high level of experience; and $65–$70 per hour for independently licensed clinicians. On-site incentives are offered for clinicians who meet specified in-person service thresholds over a three-month period: $750 at 50%, $1,000 at 75%, and $1,250 at 90% or above. Full-time salaried clinicians receive guaranteed salary compensation even when clients cancel. NFS offers supervision, professional development, free continuing education units, and licensure assistance. Clinicians should be able to manage their own schedules and conduct client outreach.
