Outpatient Therapist TF-CBT
About The Position
Northeast Family Services is seeking licensed clinicians with TF-CBT training and experience in treating PTSD and complex trauma. The role involves working with clients who are ready to heal and improve their lives, making a real impact through trauma treatment expertise. The organization is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to clients who have experienced trauma and is looking for clinicians who share this commitment and bring both clinical expertise and compassionate presence to their work. This is a hybrid opportunity in their New Rochelle and Bronx clinic locations.
Requirements
- Active New York State LCSW or LMHC-D license
- TF-CBT training or certification
- Experience treating complex trauma and PTSD
- Comfortable working with trauma survivors
- Access to a laptop or CPS, secure internet, and a phone required
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian and Hindi language capacity
- Cultural humility and trauma-sensitive approach
Responsibilities
- Trauma assessment and case conceptualization
- Safety planning and suicide risk assessment
- Grounding techniques and emotional regulation skills
- Cognitive restructuring and reframing
- Building therapeutic alliance with trauma survivors
- Family therapy and attachment-focused interventions
- Documentation and treatment planning
