About The Position

Branches of Auburn Hills, a department within Havenwyck Hospital, is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate clinician to provide comprehensive behavioral health services. As an extension of Havenwyck Hospital, the facility is recognized as a top mental health provider in the greater Metro-Detroit area, focusing on promoting recovery and well-being for individuals and families. The Outpatient Clinician (Clinical Social Worker) will provide social services to patients under the general direction of the Director of Outpatient Services and will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Duties may vary based on experience and specialization but are characteristic of the position.

Requirements

Master of Social Work degree from a school of Social Work or Master of Arts in Counseling degree required.
Current License in the State of Michigan as a Fully Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) or LPC required.
Employee must be in good standing (employment/corrective action history, performance evaluation, etc.) to be considered for an internal transfer.

Responsibilities

Participates as an integral professional member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Effectively and professionally engages in the provision of and clinically documents patient assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and discharge planning.
Engages in supports coordination and collateral contact as indicated by patient needs during programming.
Works a schedule that meets the needs of the program.
Attend weekly treatment team meetings.
Attends program milieu meetings.
Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
