Therapeutic Nutrition Outpatient Sales Representative - Dallas, TX
About The Position
Abbott's Nutrition Division is seeking an Outpatient Sales Representative for its Therapeutic Nutrition Sales team in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for driving sales by securing commitments for recommendations from Healthcare Professionals in outpatient offices, including Internal Medicine, Primary Care, and Oncology accounts. The representative will build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, administration, and nutrition services to promote Abbott's nutrition products. Key aspects of the role include identifying customer needs, providing win-win solutions, obtaining commitments for recommendations, and ensuring customer compliance. The territory includes Dallas Proper, Garland, Mesquite, Irving, Tyler, and Duncanville, with 5-10% travel required for regional/national meetings. This position is for local candidates only and does not offer relocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-3 years of sales experience
- B2B selling experience
- Cold-Calling experience
- Experience building own book of business
- Strong business acumen
- Displayed characteristics of GRIT, Persistence, Adaptability and Drive
- Keyboard use (greater or equal to 50% of the workday)
- Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment

Responsibilities
- Executing sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals for Ensure®, Glucerna®, Juven®, and Protality®
- Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute the sales direction
- Identify customer needs and deliver on sales opportunities accordingly
- Utilize Abbott Nutrition promotional materials to targeted healthcare professionals
- Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
- Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities
