About The Position

Come join our dynamic outpatient therapy, community fitness and sports medicine family! This position is located in Little Rock and will be integral in treating a general PT population while focusing on women's health along with pelvic floor conditions. We value mentorships, continuing education, and a healthy caseload to provide individualized care as appropriate. The outpatient physical therapist provides an individualized evaluation, during which the client, family/caregiver, and physical therapist determine the patient's goals, customize interventions to optimize the person's ability to perform functional activities, and continuously assess progress towards goals to ensure goals are being met and/or to modify the intervention plan based on the patient's needs and skills. Functional outcomes data is completed through collection of best practice data via patient questionnaires, performance measures, and documented treatment interventions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002, OR Master’s degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016, OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current Arkansas Physical Therapy License or eligible to obtain license within 1 month of date of hire
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Candidate must pass state abuse registry checks, pass a drug screen, submit to a TB skin test, and provide proof of required immunizations or submit to them.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy
  • OCS, CSCS, DN, Pelvic Floor Certified

Responsibilities

  • Complete direct and indirect practice care to evaluate, create plans of care, coordinate care, educate, and treat patients.
  • Completes best practice patient care documentation and appropriate review of patient PHI before implementing and during direct patient care plans for both insurance reimbursement and Joint Commission standards.
  • Initiates multi-disciplinary collaborative efforts with referring providers to communicate patient progress and outcomes to ensure best practice patient care is provided.
