About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. Loyola Medicine Transport is based at Loyola University Medical Center and is part of a three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. The oncology pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to various patient populations by compounding and dispensing medications to achieve optimal outcomes in the safest manner possible. In an effort to achieve these goals, the oncology pharmacist will take part in medication therapy evaluation, will provide drug information to staff and patients, will facilitate positive outcomes in their practice setting, and will participate in quality improvement activities. Helps achieve the mission of Loyola University Medical Center Pharmacy Services and Cancer Service Line by performing duties in a customer focused, cost effective, and results oriented manner.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Nice To Haves

• Residency: Pharmacy Practice - General (Preferred)
• Residency: Specialty - Oncology (Preferred)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified)
