About The Position

Southcoast Health is seeking a Pharmacist-Oncology to provide professional pharmacy services related to the clinical review and dispensing of outpatient chemotherapy. The pharmacist serves as a resource to nurses, physicians, and other clinicians caring for hematology, oncology, and other patients at Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care. The position includes working with clinical trials, providing technical direction and supervision to assigned personnel, and communicating with patients and healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy. The role is based at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts, and requires willingness to work across Southcoast oncology facilities as needed. This is a 40-hour-per-week day-shift position, generally scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with variable hours and an on-call rotation covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Pay is determined by experience and ranges from $55.79 to $70.26 per hour.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy.
Registered Pharmacist license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
Experience working in a USP 797/800 environment.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement after hire.

Nice To Haves

Previous oncology experience.
One year of related experience.
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy.
