About The Position
TaylorCare is hiring a part-time outpatient mental health therapist for an office setting in Tuckerton, New Jersey. The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy; assess clients’ mental health needs; develop and update individualized treatment plans; and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals. The role also includes crisis intervention, psychoeducation, clinical documentation, supervision, case consultation, teamwork, and maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards. Salary is based on education and experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Master’s degree.
- LAC or LSW credential, as indicated in the job title.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques.
- Create and update treatment plans to address client needs and goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including progress notes and assessments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to coordinate care.
- Provide support and intervention during mental health crises.
- Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in regular supervision and case consultation.
- Complete required documentation, including activity logs, progress notes, and intake paperwork.
- Work effectively with staff and families as part of a team.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Stay current with best practices in therapy and mental health care.
