Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician
About The Position
Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with interest in geriatric medicine to join their highly experienced team at the Internal Medicine & Senior Care Clinic. The FHP Internal Medicine & Senior Care Clinic provides comprehensive adult primary care, from preventive medicine to the management of chronic and complex conditions. The team cares for a diverse patient population including seniors with multiple medical needs and is committed to preserving Medicare and Medicaid access in Interior Alaska. As an Internal Medicine physician, you’ll focus your expertise by consulting on and managing complex and multisystem conditions while partnering with APPs who support routine check-ins, follow-up visits and acute care needs. This team-based model creates greater access for patients while giving physicians more time to focus on higher acuity care and meaningful clinical decision-making.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board.
- Current DEA number.
- Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician’s employment agreement.
- Commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress.

- Ability to work as a team member.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
