About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a temporary outpatient position at Capital Health Family Health Center, supporting the HealthStart program in Trenton, NJ. Capital Health is a multi-site hospital system employing a large and dynamic team of dietitians in a variety of clinical settings. This position is expected to begin in July 2026 and last for approximately six months. No Weekends!
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (proficiency in Spanish a plus)
- Excellent counseling skills
- Time management and organizational abilities
- The ability to be a self-starter and a team player
- The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of general nutrition and maternity nutrition, especially gestational diabetes.
- Demonstrate competency in nutrition care planning for the maternal outpatient population, including gestational diabetes.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary care team rounds, current work groups, area committees and community outreach events.
- Participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives.
- Mentor/coach Dietetic Interns, as assigned.
